Shapes of Contrast Stop (Intussusception)

The terms of the shapes of contrast stop are from the left to the right side as follows: Amputation form, cup form, plug form, and cockade form. With the introduction of the ultrasound this classification has lost the practical significance, but the ultrasound findings may vary accordingly, and a correlation of the observed type with the reducibility during radiological or operative reduction has not been proved.
