Minute Opening (Lateral Fistula of the Neck)

The opening of a fistula may be very fine as in this girl visible on the right side of the neck. Therefore, fistulas are sometimes barely recognizable; in case of suspicion they are canulated at best with a fine probe. See also tuha_5_n.jpg.
