Neck Tags (Differential Diagnosis Second Branchial Anomaly)

Exophytic neck and preauricular tags are localized laterally on the neck, or in front of the auditory channel. They are of branchiogenic origin and differ from the second branchial cyst in their aspect, and residuals of hard cartilage are palpable underneath the tags.
