Operative Findings/Preparation (Teratoma)

tuab_20a_n.jpg: Following laparotomy a mass is visible which is situated retroperitoneally above the transverse colon and behind the stomach which is held by a hand to the top. tuab_20b_n.jpg: This mass is encapsulated, and inside of the tumor tallow and hair are visible. tuab_20a_n.jpg and tuab_20b_n.jpg: Due to the site of the mass and its macroscopical and histological findings it is a retroperitoneal mature teratoma.
