Recurrence (Inguinal Hernia)
3.5-month-old boy with a left scrotal and groin swelling. The swelling of the left scrotum leads to a midline shift of the scrotal raphe to the right side; it continues in the direction of the groin. Notice the increased volume above the cranial scrotal insertion in comparison to the right side.
It is a recurrent large inguinoscrotal hernia following herniotomy in a premature patient. The hernia sac was partially left behind.
