Sequel to the Eyes (Congenital Muscular Torticollis)
5.9-year-old girl with a torticollis to the right.
Notice the asymmetry of the face and the scoliosis of the cervical and upper thoracal spine. To maintain the equilibrium and the horizontal eye movements the bulbi are adjusted more or less to the horizontal plane perpendicular to the virtual vertical axis of the body.
Besides these ocular sequels a distinct shoulder elevation belongs to the secondary sequels of congenital muscular torticollis.
