Newborn (Sternocleidomastoid Tumor)
In this 1-month-old patient a mass along the left sternocleidomastoid muscle is visible and palpable (in front of the tip of the black arrow pointing to the left side in the picture). The clinical examination yields a mass within the distal part of the muscle, which is rough and runs continually in the cranial and distal direction. Typical sternocleidomastoid tumor in the newborn.
