Indications (Therapy Congenital Muscular Torticollis)

This synopsis includes the indications for non-operative and operative treatment of congenital muscular torticollis. The indication for physiotherapy or surgery must consider the age of the patient, the severity of the torticollis in general and the congenital muscular torticollis specifically, and the result of the former therapy. It is not allowed to initiate therapy without a work-up of the differential diagnosis in non-obvious cases.
