Asymmetric Form (Pigeon Brest)

peex_18a_n.jpg to peex_18c_n.jpg: Frontal and semi-oblique left and right views of a 8.1-year-old girl with a chest wall deformity. In the frontal view an asymmetrical pigeon breast may be suspected ( peex_18a_n.jpg). In the semi-oblique view from the left a protrusion of the left parasagittal chest wall is visible ( peex_18b_n.jpg), but in the semi-oblique view from the right side a normal position of the right parasagittal chest wall is recognizable ( peex_18c_n.jpg). The latter finding confirms the suspicion of an asymmetric pigeon breast.
