Hirschsprung´s Disease (Video)
This video provides the user with a recapitulation of six topics about Hirschsprung's disease.
1. The patient preoperatively in good general condition and nutrinal state because of non-operative treatment with daily rectal irrigations with saline.
2. Work-up with contrast enema.
3. Start of the pull-through operation.
4. The first part of surgery with the operative findings and the preparations of the rectosigmoid.
5. The second part of surgery with pull-through of the aganglionic intestine and the sigmoidoanal anastomosis (Swenson-Grob proceeding).
6. The preparation of the resected intestine.
