Intestinal Changes (Gastroschisis)

Details of the intestine with differently large intestinal loops; on the left, there is a relatively narrow intestinal segment, on the right and at the top there are grotesquely dilated intestinal loops. It is a typical appearance of the intestine in gastroschisis. The intestinal loops are in part not as such recognizable, but stuck together, and have greenish coats. Behind narrow or grotesquely dilated loops an additional atresia or stenosis may be hidden without an externally recognizable disconnection.
