Acquired Evisceration 2 (Differential Diagnosis)

7.7-year-old boy with a prolapsing intestinal loop in the left lower abdomen beyond the midline. The loop is non-irritant. It is an example of a postnatally acquired evisceration due to a gunshot. In Central Europe the open abdominal trauma is less frequent than the blunt trauma. In the presented case other not visible intra- and extraabdominal traumatic lesions are possible and must be excluded by work-ups and at surgery.
