Small in Height (Posterior Urethral Valves)
5-year-old boy with increase of the subcutaneous fatty tissue of the trunc which is in contrast to the slender extremities. With 95 cm, the body length is below the third percentile.
The patient is a small-grown boy after operated posterior urethral valves; the small
height is due to renal insufficiency. The obesity of the trunc with weals is caused
by immunosuppression by steroids following renal transplantation. Notice the weals
of the belly.
