Signs of Dysplasia (Cleft Lip)

Figure liki_10a_n.jpg and liki_10b_n.jpg: Prior to additional examinations, a clinical examination of the whole patient should be performed as in this case of a newborn with a dysplastic cleft lip, striking look, and multiple stigmata; notice in figure liki_10a_n.jpg the dysplastic cleft, the striking look and the broad root of the nose (glabella), and in figure liki_10b_n.jpg the abnormal profile, the bony ridge of the right coronal suture, and the dysplastic auricle.
