Right-Occipital and Left-Frontal Plagiocephaly (Video)
This video shows an already shunted newborn with hydrocephalus. The newborn is sitting and is being held upright. From the top, the observer recognizes a postural plagiocephaly with flattening of the right back head and of the left front. Mainly after shunt surgery and craniectomies in craniosynostosis a postural plagiocephaly should be avoided by regular change of the position and/or a helmet postoperatively.
