Case Report Complicated Hydrocephalus (Video)

Video for recapitulation with demonstration of a newborn with a complicated congenital hydrocephalus. It is a complicated hydrocephalus because in addition to a macrocrania and widely open anterior fontanel, other abnormalities are present such as microphthalmia and a malformation of the hands. The additional examinations include in this case not only CT or MRI, but also the search for a known syndrome and a chromosomal aberration(genetic work-up, e.g. search for a X-linked hydrocephalus or a MASA syndrome).
