Complete Ureteral Duplication 2 (UTI/VURI)
3.6-year-old girl with recurrent urinary tract infections.
The VCUG shows a right-sided vesicoureteral reflux. The pelvicocaliceal system resembles a wilting flower and has only two groups of calices in the picture on the left side. The picture on the right side shows a slender pyelocaliceal system of the cranial renal pole following retrograde pyelography.
The diagnosis is complete ureteral duplication of the right side. The pelvicocaliceal
system of the caudal renal part exhibits due to a grade III-IV reflux the described site and shape; the missing group of calices in the VCUG belongs to the upper renal part.
