Recurrent Hematuria
hage_17a_n.jpg and hage_17b_n.jpg: 9.7-year-old boy with recurrent hematuria. After performing x-ray studies and urine and blood analysis no recognizable pediatric urological or pediatric pathology was found.
hage_17a_n.jpg: During cystoscopy an elongated and light-red zone on the left
lateral bladder wall was seen which was here and there prominent and dark-red.
hage_17b_n.jpg: Analogous finding during surgery.
hage_17a_n.jpg and hage_17b_n.jpg: The diagnosis is an intraluminal hemangioma. Today, tumors like in the presented case and malformations may
be removed endoscopically by laser if they are not beyond a critical size and shape.
