Colposcopic Finding (Genital Bleeding)

Colposcopy reveals an increased vascular network, punctuated and spot-like bleedings and excrescences of the mucous membrane like polyps. It is a reaction of the mucous membrane of the vagina in the form of pseudopolyps following a chronic inflammatory process. Together with the bleeding diathesis, the described findings explain the genital bleeding which may be observed in vaginitis.
